Abstract
The concept of a g-closed set of a topological space was introduced by N. Levine (1970). These sets were also considered by Dunham and N. Levine (1980) and K. Balachandran, P. Sundaram and H. Maki (1991). Recently, S. Malghan (1982) defined a new class of mappings called g-closed mappings which contains the class of closed mappings. It is the purpose of this paper to explore more fully this concept and inprove the Theorems 6.1 and 6.3 of (N. Levine 1970).
